TROLLY RIDES - In memory of Archie Gowin...His Trolley will take passengers back and fourth from the downtown area to the ARTISAN MARKET at Roosevelt Community Center. Trolley pick up location will be at the corner right beside the East Main Multi-Plex.

This year's Event kicks off with a lighted parade @ 6 PM on Friday,
December 6, 2019
Santa arrives in Casey by Parade AND our parade grows longer each year!! Last year we had over 25 entries. This year to accommodate the length, (The parade will line up on the street that runs in front of the CW High School (East Edgar St.). The parade will travel south onto NE 4th St and turn west onto East Main St. From there it will travel through the downtown area, ending at SW 2nd St.
(extending the parade route is pending city approval)
Please note the following:
For safety reasons, this is a "no candy" parade.
Each entry in the parade MUST be lighted.
Parking areas in front of the shops on East and West Main will be blocked off @ 4pm prior to the parade.

"Twas The Night Before Christmas" story reading by Santa @ 7 PM
Santa will be reading "Twas The Night Before Christmas" from the World's Largest Mailbox to all of the children (young and old) gathered below. Santa will then be available for photo opportunities in the Candy Canes on Main Headquarters - located in the lobby of the 1890 Sleepover.

The Merry Market will open for Preview with an admission fee of $2 per person form 6:30 to 9 pm on Friday evening. There will be live music, free Pepsi products, Hot Cocoa from The Traveling Mug, and treats from Wildflour Bakery...while supplies last.
Our Artisan market is a place where creativity flourishes as all items must fall into 1 of 3 categories: handmade, re-purposed, or vintage. It is always a one of a kind experience. Take advantage of these early shopping hours!!

Lots of options for food will be available both Friday evening and ALL day Saturday.
We have local options as well as food truck options.
The famous Coca Cola Bear
will be set up in downtown Casey @ the corner of Main and SE First St. He will be giving away free Coke and popcorn
on Friday evening from 6:30 to 8 PM.

The Merry Market continues with free admission on Saturday. Enjoy shopping for one-of-a-kind products from 9 to 4 at Roosevelt Community Center. All of the artisans in the show were juried on their quality and display appearance. Support for the Market is direct support for the Candy Canes on Main Event.

NEW this year...Carriage Rides!!!
Max Strate has agreed to join this year's event and offer Carriage rides for Candy Canes on Main. Rides will be available from 11 to 3. Max will be located at the corner by The World's Largest Rocking Chair Avenue. The fee to ride is $5 per person and the carriage can hold up to 6 per ride.
At 10:00 AM Saturday morning...the winner of the the Big Things Small Town Raffle will be lifted up onto the World's Largest Rocking Chair
Lego Contest Voting will be from 10 to 4
on Saturday - in the Lobby of Reflections Restaurant

Entries in the Christmas themed Lego Contest will be on display from 10 to 4 on Saturday. Each entry will collect votes through donations. The winning entry will be announced at 4:30 and receives a cash prize.
